Comfortable shoes for work or play
I’m Joo Teoh, Obstetrician and gynaecology surgeon in Perth, Australia.
Working in hospitals throughout the world, I noticed doctors and nurses wearing shoes that are protective but not particularly soft, flexible or comfortable.
Sneakers aren’t very spill resistant
Sometimes they may have to wear sneakers to provide the comfort. However, those shoes, as you know, they are not protective against spills in the working environment.
Protection, support and comfort
About five years ago, my team and I set up a mission to develop the shoes that provide best of both worlds, which provide protection, support and comfort, at the same time. We scientifically engineered SoulGuardz, a shoe like no other.
As you can see, Soulguardz is pretty lightweight, soft, and has some exclusive features as well.
Ventilation
Number 1, is the SoulGillz, which are the vents or open bands that provide air ventilation and circulation. As you can see, the gills are strategically placed so that we can have the best breathability and prevent spills from the working environment.
Non slip
Next there is SoulLock, which we have spent more than a year designing, and it is a patented design. The thread of the sole is designed and placed in a position so if stepping on oil or fluid, it’ll be dispersed and provide a non slip grip.
Support
The next feature is SoulAir, which is a pocket wave of air we have placed throughout the sole. This absorbs shock and provides support to help prevent aching feet when standing all day. The outer sole of the shoes is made of foam, and at the back we use neoprene so it can dry very quickly when the shoes are cleaned or washed.
Easy to clean
The shoe outer is UV resistant, water resistant and crack resistant and is very easily cleaned. SoulGuardz also has removable memory foam to help provide the even more comfort and reduce any foot odour.
Originally I designed these shoes for healthcare workers, but they are also perfect for hospitality workers, in fact anyone who is on their feet a lot.
These shoes are the perfect fit for Australian way of life, and are comfortable shoes for work or play.
